First Aid at Work - Requalification
Overview
This 2 day classroom style course is for those that need to renew their full First Aid at Work Certificate. Please note that candidates attending this course must be in possession of a valid (not out of date by more than 28 days) First Aid at Work certificate.

This course curriculum is set to re-qualify candidates who hold a valid first aid at work qualification, meeting the standards of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
However, additional topics or workplace specific training can be covered including, but not limited to: crush injuries, gunshot wounds, and chemical/acid burns.

Assessment and Certification
Given the practical nature of first aid, delegates will be assessed predominantly through practical, hands on, assessments, demonstrating the skills learned throughout the two day course. delegates will undertake three practical assessments on the second day and upon successful completion delegates will receive a certificate, which is valid for a further three years.
If you/your delegates, have not got a current first aid at work qualification, you may wish to consider the full three day first aid at work course.
Under the current guidelines it is ‘strongly recommended’ that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every 12 months – before completing full requalification training at the three year point.
